The Centre for Addictions Research of BC (www.carbc.ca ) at the University of Victoria (www.uvic.ca) is offering 3 one-year entry scholarships for graduates from the health, medical, social and behavioural sciences for a new interdisciplinary health research training programme - the Social Dimensions of Health Research.

We are please to post the presentation from the Clinical Educators Workshop on May 7, 2009.
A recent publication entitled Practising Interprofessional Teamwork From the First Day of Class: a Model for an Interprofessional Palliative Care Course by Susan Cadell et al. has been posted in our courses section and is available for download. The paper, published in the Journal of Palliative Care, describes the College's IHHS 405 Palliative Care course and its evolution.
November 4-7th, 2007, the Practice Makes Perfect Conference was held in Vancouver, bringing together over 500 delegates from around the world to address practice education issues around interprofessional education, preceptor development, building practice education cultures and capacity, and practice simulation and web-based learning.
