'Talk to Your Doc' for high school students

 

 



A volunteer outreach program in which UBC medical students help high school students to develop an independent relationship with their doctor and take an active role in their health care.

This workshop series aims to help community members communicate more effectively with their doctors. Community groups have included seniors, mental health clients, and stroke recovery patients.




 

 


 

Talk to Your Doc for immigrants & refugees

 

 



This pilot workshop aims to help new immigrants and refugees access the Canadian health care system and communicate more effectively with health care professionals.
